Games we will play today:
1. 4 numbers game
Given 4 numbers, try to make as many different numbers using all four as you can, with the four basic operations (+ , - , x , /)
2. Largest Number in 5 seconds
Write down the largest number you can in 5 seconds
3. Poker Cards Multiplication Game
Work in Pairs
Each pair receives 10 cards, 1 to 10.
Take turns doing the following:
1. Player 1 Shuffles the cards then draws two cards face down.
2. Player 2 looks at the two cards and says the product of the two
3. Player 1 looks at the two cards and verifies the answer (Player 1 may use multiplication table if necessary)
If the answer is right, player 2 takes the two cards.
If the answer is wrong, player 1 states the right answer and puts the two cards back into the deck at random locations.
Now players 1 and 2 swap and continue until all the cards in the deck are gone. Each card is worth one point. Record the number of points won.
Restart and play a second round of the game and see who has the most number of points. (Tie is allowed)
